SYMPOSIUM

One of the most important activities in Academic Bash is the Science Congress.
“Responding to Global Warming through Investigation” is the theme for this year’s Science Fair. In
celebration of the annual Science Fair in Quezon City Academy, the Bureau of Science Studies with its director Karlo Concepcion, IV Abad Santos and his adviser Mrs. Nilda Cruz prepared a symposium or an educational forum which will be held today at the Alvendia Hall. The symposium will be a simulation of community actions to counter Global Warming.This year’s guest speaker is Mr. Delfin Bautista, a true blue Atenean. He was employed by the Ateneo Grade School in 1967and had continuously served that school in various capacities: as classrooms teacher, subject area coordinator and special subject teacher of science. He served the Ateneo and the Ateneo students for 42 continuous years. He is an accreditor of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), elementary Science consultant of ABS-CBN Foundation, producing science lessons in Sineskwela. He was also the Science article writer for the teachers’ magazine “Philippine Journal of Education”. |
